The Results Are In!

In late 2017, the City of La Crosse asked Weigent-Hogan neighbors to prioritize spending of $375,000 in city infrastructure funds. The Weigent-Hogan Neighborhood Association was tasked with gathering project ideas, helping neighbors discuss those ideas, and finally conducting a vote to find the priorities. May 19, 2018 is Neighborhood Rummage Sale Day

Help WHNA Drive Traffic to Your Sale

As part of May’s “Spring Into Your Neighborhood” celebration, WHNA is promoting everyone who agrees to have a rummage sale on May 19th. If you’d like to join, by May 15th email with your name, address, and hours you plan to be open on the 19th. We’ll add your address to a list that we’ll post online and at each sale location. The more people who visit, the more likely you won’t have to haul anything back inside. 🙂

Important Meeting!

On March 12 we will continue the process of prioritizing neighbors’ ideas for use of City Capital Improvement Program (CIP) funds.

These are funds budgeted by the City for infrastructure improvements throughout the Weigent-Hogan neighborhood.

We will discuss all ideas collected via the WHNA website and at the February General Membership meeting.

Lewis Kulhlman from the City Planning Department will be on hand to answer questions specific to our CIP suggestions and about the CIP process.

Your input is important. Please note that we will vote in April. It is imperative you attend the March meeting to vote in April. Not only so you can discuss the ideas, but WHNA bylaws state to vote you must have attended a meeting in the previous 12 months. For WHNA residents that have not, March would be your last chance.

See you at the meeting!

WHNA meetings are held the second Monday of the month from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Building (401 West Ave.)
